Two minors, aged 13 and 15, were detained in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Lugano following an intense pursuit that ended when the vehicle they were in crashed into a utility pole. According to police sources, everything began when officers from the City Police's Rapid Intervention Directorate (DIR) spotted a white Nissan March car, which had an active theft warrant for armed robbery. At that moment, the officers requested the driver to stop, but they were ignored, initiating a chase that concluded at the intersection of Avenida Piedra Buena and De La Rosa after colliding with a column. All occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot towards Barrio 15, while the two minors remained inside the car and were consequently detained. They were transported by the SAME emergency service to Santojanni Hospital with a diagnosis of polytrauma. A replica firearm and documentation were found inside the seized vehicle. 'Both detainees have a criminal record for aggravated concealment, loitering, theft, and robbery in a populated area and as part of a group,' they highlighted.
